Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the OnlyBaby iOS app (“OnlyBaby”, “we”, “us”) handles your information.

Summary

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not run third-party ads in the app.
• Your data is stored in app files on your device.
• If you sign in with email/password, your logs can sync to Google Firebase Firestore under your account.
• After login, app file storage sync via iCloud Documents is paused and cloud sync is handled by Firebase Firestore for supported logs.

Information you provide

OnlyBaby is designed for personal tracking. The app can store information you enter, such as:

• Email address and password (for optional account sign in/sign up).
• Contraction session entries (start/end time, duration).
• Baby log entries (diaper events and milk feeding volume in mL).
• Pump log entries (timestamp and volume in mL).
• Optional baby birthday (to calculate age).

How your data is stored

OnlyBaby saves your information to files used by the app (for example, JSON files).

• On-device storage: saved locally on your device.
• iCloud Documents (optional): if iCloud is available and you are not signed in to OnlyBaby account sync, OnlyBaby may store app files in your iCloud Documents container.
• Firebase Authentication (optional): if you sign up or sign in, your email/password authentication is processed by Google Firebase Authentication.
• Firebase Firestore (optional): when signed in, baby logs, pump logs, and contraction logs can sync to Firestore under your user ID, for example: /users/{uid}/babyLogs, /users/{uid}/pumpLogs, and /users/{uid}/contractions.

Sharing / exporting

OnlyBaby includes export features (for example, sharing JSON backups). When you choose to export or share, iOS will ask you where to send the data (AirDrop, Messages, Mail, Files, etc.). The recipients and services you choose may process your data according to their own privacy policies.

Network access

OnlyBaby can work without an account for local tracking. If you use account sign in/sign up, the app connects to Firebase services for authentication and Firestore sync. If you are not signed in and iCloud Documents is available, synchronization may be performed by iCloud.

Children’s privacy

OnlyBaby is intended for use by parents/guardians and caregivers to track personal routines. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention and deletion

Your data remains on your device and/or in your iCloud Documents container until you delete it in the app, uninstall the app, or remove the files from iCloud Drive / your device.

If you use account sync, your synced log data is stored in Firebase Firestore under your account. You can delete individual logs from the app. If you delete your account in the app, Firebase Authentication account deletion is requested.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above.
